Arthurine Wright, Clinical Mental Health Professional
Arthurine is passionate about helping people journey out of painful past lifestyles to find healing and wholeness. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and also is a Certified Professional Clinical Supervisor (CPCS). Arthurine’s clinical experience includes providing psychotherapy and counseling to clients with mild to severe diagnosis, outreach crisis counseling, supervision of interns, life skill coaching, and Christian counseling. She is also licensed to minister the Gospel.
She has facilitated support groups for survivors of sexual abuse and unwanted same sex attractions. Arthurine is trained as a Christian Sex Educator. Arthurine’s areas of interest include relational and spiritual challenges, healthy sexuality, military family consultation, depression, premarital counseling, anger management and grief/loss counseling.
Prior to counseling, Arthurine served in the United States Army as an Engineer Officer and is a Persian Gulf War Veteran. Arthurine has a Master’s Degree in Professional Counseling with an emphasis in Spirituality Integration of Theology and Counseling from Richmont Graduate University, a Master’s Degree in Management from Webster University, and a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Business Education from Saint Augustine’s University.
Random Notable Arthurine Fact: Arthurine enjoys having conversations with her namesake, Mrs. Autherine J. Lucy Foster who was the first Black Student to enroll at the University of Alabama (1956). She enjoys spending time with family, loves nature, bird watching, and gardening.
Al Wright, Administrator, MPH
Al Wright has over 30 years’ experience in government at various levels of responsibility in both civilian and military career fields. His principle responsibilities are office administration, accounts receivables, logistics, facility maintenance, security and office inventory.
Mr. Wright retired from the United States Army, as a Commissioned Chief Warrant Officer. He holds a Master of Public Health (MPH) from Emory University, and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Columbia College, Columbia, MO.
